Connecting Young Adults to His Community

Young adults long for and look for connection and belonging. The small group, and the church, must provide this vital connection. This session deals with connecting young adults in life together in the community of Christ, the church.

Discussion Questions

Young adults want and need a place to belong. They want a place where they know they are loved, cared for and encouraged.

  • Is your small group structure intent on hitting these needs?
  • If not, what adjustments need to be made?

Young adults want people to do life with.

  • Are we committed to going beyond Bible study time in order to become a community that really shares life together?
  • What does that look like?

The Lord led my family to the College and Career group at Lexington FBC.

Because of Bud Comer’s leadership and compassion as well as mentoring by his group, my daughter is being transformed daily in undeniable ways.

This Mama is forever grateful. As a result I too have found a small group to facilitate that is for women in our church..

Thank you Bud. God is Working!!

I would like to thank my daughter’s College and Career Sunday School teacher, Mrs. Shelia Karges, for her mentoring and wisdom. She has been such a powerful example of the hands and feet of Jesus.
